Apple Watch Series 8 to Get Larger 1.99-inch Display?

The next generation Apple Watch Series 8 could feature a larger 1.99-inch display, according to a new report from Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC).

Young revealed the larger display size in response to a tweet.

A 1.99-inch (50.5mm) display would be about 5% larger than the current 45mm Apple Watch Series 7 display which measures 1.9-inches diagonally.

Notably, over the weekend, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that the Apple Watch Series 8 would get the ability to assess body temperature but any other hardware changes would be minor.
