The palera1n jailbreak for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch has received a major update. Rewritten in C, the jailbreak now features improved stability and a generally better jailbreaking experience.

For those who aren't familiar with palera1n, it's a semi-tethered jailbreak supporting A8-A11 devices via the checkm8 exploit. This includes the iPhone 6 through iPhone X and numerous other models.

Here's a look at the changelog...

Benefits and changes:
● A10(X) passcode is supported
● Auto tweak execution, like checkrain! (this means you no longer need to press Do All from the loader)
● Loader updated to support rootless and roottul, will dynamically change depending on what jailbreak type you choose to jailbreak with in paleraln-c
● Loader will no longer show the install button if you have a jailbreak already installed
● palerain-c doesn't require an internet connection after initial download
● Doesn't need to create a ramdisk, no need to install gaster or pyimg4
● Still needs around 10 minutes to create fakeFS, however this is done on device rather than the computer, so you'll have much better success rate
● Smaller file size (7mb~)

Issues on A9 devices:
● A9 and below may need palerain-c to be ran again while still being in PongoOS

Disadvantages:
● Unable to create or boot a tethered environment (16gb devices are not able to use this, but they can use rootless)
● Substitute may have more issues with connecting to 802.1x eap-peap-mschapv2 wit networks

You may also notice that Sileo Nightly is used instead of Sileo now, this was for palerain-c and it's support for both rootless and rootful.
