Just jailbroke 3GS. Only problem is iphone browser or iphone explorer will not let me access themes, etc. to drag and drop onto phone. Any suggestions?

After jailbreaking with Spririt, I've lost all my main icons: email, notes, calendar, GPS, messages.. I even can't make the calls.. Is there any way to get them back, Please!!! Thanks.

Sync with iTunes. If you've done it recently it will have backed up your phone sns you can restore from the most recent backup. It keeps your jailbreak.

I have the same problem and I've tried restoring already. Same thing. All my main icons are missing. How???

I have a 3G S 32GB, was unlocked with Blackrain but every time I turned off the phone it was going to the recovery mode (USB to iTunes picture) decided to use Spirit to fix the problem, it went all the way to the end but frozen again, keeps going to the recovery mode, tried Blackrain after but no luck, keeps rebooting with George Hotz picture on it. Can't try Spirit again because its not in the standard spring board anymore. PLEASE HELP, I can't restore because I will lose the UNLOCK.

Thank you! I have learned my lesson! Never again will I update through iTunes without checking iClarified first. It was a sad couple of months on 3.1.3 without my jailbreak.... I saw someone mentioned it earlier: **If you are STUCK on REBOOT.... restore with iTunes, do the jailbreak process all over again, and then STOP at step 5. DON'T press "Quit". Just disconnect. Works perfectly. Yay! Thanks again. xo

I've got a little problem.. After Jailbreaking with Spirit my 3GS 3.1.2 I lost some of the main icons like: compass, mail, notes, calculator, maps, calendar... Is there anyway to get them back?

I also forgot to mention that the iPod icon is missing as well.. I also tried to restore the 3.1.2 software after reading a lot on the net, but didn't found a reliable solution.. Can someone please help? Thank you!

How did you manage to restote? I tryed to re-install the 3.1.2 software again, after reading a little on the internet, but I was getting an error from iTunes, and couldn't complete the install. Do you have any sugestions in what can I do? Thanks!

Also since this works so well, anychance if you can look into add some patches to make it CARRIER UNLOCK as well? Offcourse we'll donate again. Works perfectly on iPad. appsync 3.2 from hackulos working perfect also. First "free" apps in my iPad.

hey i was wondering if your app icons are white? or is that just on mine??? they work fine but there is no artwork lol. anyways someone with cracked apps please advise............thanks

3.1.3 with BB 5.12.1 only able to jailbreak at the moment with spirit. You have to wait until new unlocked software release for 4.0. Read further for more information.

I was using a 3.1.2 3GS w/Blackra1n....All of a sudden last week it froze and i was FORCED to restore to 3.1.3 as i didnt have my SHSH files for 3.1.2 on Cydia...I was pissed thinking i would not be able to jailbreak for awhile..Then i saw this and tried spirit...it worked great!!! Now i have a 3.1.3 3GS full jailbroken wooo hooo! Thank god i spent the extra money and got a FACTORY unlocked Iphone 3gs so i dont need to worry about the unlock!

You've got to restore it to orginal 3.1.2 and activate before you run Spirit. Becareful don't update to 3.1.3 you can't unlock it now.

ok so im using wifi ipad 32gb. got installous from cydia, it works good. but dont install app sync 3.1.2 will cause ipad to freeze and have to restore. also any word on y the apps are not showing ART work there white icons???? also how can we sync cracked apps from itunes to ipad????? awaiting your reply thanks in advance and thanks to comex for jb

Yes, updating/restoring will wipe the phone but you can backup items. Search around you'll find out how. Well, why do you think you need this? Do you currently have a tethered jailbreak? (meaning does it not boot up properly where you need to run blackra1n again) If not then just leave it. Also, do you need unlock? If so then don't update to 3.1.3. Best thing to do is IF you have your SHSH for 3.1.2 stored on cydia then just restore to 3.1.2 and run this. Once again this will wipe the phone so make a backup.

Well I do have untethered jailbreak and am with AT&T so I dont need to unlock and everything works fine with me but I just thought would be better to update to latest release since Apple claim the fixed the battery issue and it looks like my battery is drained fast but I guess you are right I should just stick with what I have and wait for 4.0 update Thanks again for your help

Nope u will lose ur unlock spirits jailbreak 3.1.3 not unlock wait till somebody release an unlock for 3.1.3 ok peace...

You need to active the sim first before a jb....

Sorry man but if you run spirit over blackra1n it'll go into restore and you'll have to restore the phone. Not having 3.1.2 SHSH means it'll go to 3.1.3 AND that will LOCK your phone. So unless you have 3.1.2 I would NOT touch this. Wait for dev team to update pwnage tool to allow a 3.1.3 custom ipsw to preserve your baseband.

Everything works like a charm. Downloading Spirit takes like 1minute and jailbreaking takes like 30seconds. Cannot thank these guys enough. Been waiting for a 3.1.3 jailbreak for my ipod touch and iphone for so long... Thank you !

My bad, I just read the notes on SBStettings: For iPad users we need to respring after a reboot to get out of the funky iphone mode" Will fix on next update.

Jailbreak worked great on my iPad WiFI, but after installing SBSettings/rebooting it scaled the icons to iPhone size, I lost my wallpaper and pictures, I'm unable to sellect anything on the bottom bar of Cydia (search, etc) and the unlock password screen when the iPad locks it's all the way to the left, small like the size of the iPhone, it's converted my iPad to an iPhone lol, i"m unable to uninstall SBSettings, so I guess I'm restoring and trying again.

Great job! Tested on my 32GB Wifi iPad...and worked flawlessly. Cydia looks great in full screen and I tried Wolfenstein...which also works like it did on the iPhone. There were also no troubles expanding the screen to full size! Fantastic work to all who are making this happen and I'll gladly donate to see its continuing success!

Thank You.This SPIRIT software is " REAL JAILBREAK" for ipod touch 3.1.3 . I just download SPIRIT save on mac and take about 7 mins and run jailbreak about 1 mins ( come up with the nature background and run spirit software take about 1mis and done).Everything is working well now....Thank you !
