Details about Apple's new Beats Solo4 headphones have leaked, just as the device has appeared in the FCC's database. The upcoming Apple headphones are model number A3140.

According to a 9to5Mac source, the Beats Solo4 headphones will get a big upgrade from their 2016 predecessor, but remain at the same price point. Improvements include Dynamic Head Tracking, upgraded drivers, rebalanced acoustics, and USB-C.

Beats Solo4 will upgrade the Spatial Audio experience with Dynamic Head Tracking support. Sonically, we can expect a sound boost thanks to upgraded drivers and rebalanced acoustics. Specifically, Solo4 headphones will tout custom-built 40mm transducers that promise better clarity and range.

Notably, Solo4 will still retain the 3.5mm audio input port for lossless audio, no battery power required.

Other enhancements are said to include Bluetooth 5.3 support and improved call quality thanks to beam-forming mics and voice-targeting algorithms. The headphones will get an additional 10 hours of battery life, bringing total battery life to 50 hours. A ten minute fast charge will get you up to five hours of wireless playback. There's also one-touch pairing support for Android, and Find My support.

The new headphones retain their foldable design, feature UltraPlush ear cushions, and weigh 217g.
