New iPad Models Show Up in Regulatory Database Ahead of Release

Two new iPad models have shown up in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) regulatory database ahead of their release.
The entries were spotted today by 91mobiles:
91mobiles has spotted two iPad models on the BIS certification website. These iPads carry the model numbers A2836 and A2837. It's not clear though which iPads these model numbers belong to although there have been rumours of the Pro and Air lineups getting updated this year.
While originally expected in March, then April, it now seems like Apple has pushed the release of new tablets until May. This makes it the longest stretch without new models in the history of iPad. While Apple is purportedly planning to unveil a new iPad Pro and a new iPad Air, it's likely that the surfaced model numbers represent two different sizes of one of these models.
The new iPad Pro models are allegedly codenamed J717, J718, J720 and J721, and will likely feature an OLED display, an M3 chip, a landscape Face ID camera, and compatibility with a redesigned Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil.
The new iPad Air will purportedly get an upgraded processor and a new larger 12.9-inch screen size option.
