Nomad Introduces Rugged New 'Carbon Black' Apple Watch Band

Nomad has introduced a new 'Carbon Black' special edition colorway for its Rocky Point Band, a rugged Apple Watch strap designed for outdoor adventures and everyday wear. Priced at $79, the new color option offers a deeper, richer black finish for the performance-focused band.

The new Carbon Black color is created by infusing the band's FKM fluoroelastomer rubber with carbon powder, which Nomad says results in its richest black color to date. The band's hardware, including the buckle and loops, is made from carbon-coated grade 5 titanium.




The Rocky Point band itself is designed for active use, featuring a compression-molded FKM construction that is both waterproof and antimicrobial. It also incorporates ventilation grooves on the underside for improved breathability during workouts or outdoor activities.

Designed primarily for the Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2, the Rocky Point Band is also compatible with all 49mm, 46mm, 45mm, 44mm, and 42mm Apple Watch models, including Series 1 through 10 and the SE. It's offered in a single size intended to fit wrists ranging from 175mm to 225mm.



This launch follows other recent accessory releases from the company, including a Leather Mag Wallet with Find My support and a 240W USB-C 'ChargeKey' With 10Gbps data speeds.
