Apple Seeds visionOS 26 to Developers [Download]

Apple has seeded the first beta of visionOS 26.1 to developers for testing. The release comes just over a week after the public launch of visionOS 26. The build number is 23N5013j.

It is unclear what's new in this beta, though it likely focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements for the Vision Pro headset.

The visionOS 26 update introduced several new spatial experiences, including persistent widgets, spatial scenes that make photos feel more lifelike, and enhanced Personas for collaboration. You can find a complete list of changes in the official visionOS 26 release notes.
You can install the update by going to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and choosing the developer beta. Note that your Apple Vision Pro must be signed in with the Apple Account you use to sign in to the Apple Developer website.
