Tim Cook Gifted Custom 'Tim Cook' Labubu Figure, Highlights New iPhone 17 Pro [Video]

Apple CEO Tim Cook has shared a new video from Shanghai, highlighting his meeting with artist Kasing Lung, the creator of the popular art series "The Monsters." The visit to Pop Mart's 10th-anniversary showcase generated significant buzz on social media and even sparked a rally in the toy maker's stock.

The video shows Cook touring the exhibition with Lung, who discusses his work and creative tools. "Great to be back in Shanghai! Wonderful to meet the incredible Kasing Lung, whose imagination and artistry have brought joy to so many," Cook wrote, adding that he "Loved seeing how he designs these characters on iPad Pro."

Cook's post also directly references Apple's latest hardware, noting that one of Lung's characters, Labubu, "now has her own new iPhone 17 Pro in Cosmic Orange."


While not seen in the video, Cook also met with Pop Mart founder Wang Ning. According to reports, it was Ning who gifted the Apple CEO a custom Labubu figure styled to look like him. The video concludes with Cook and Lung posing together with the unique collectible.
