Ce sont les instructions pour configurer et utiliser le chat Facebook dans iChat.

1ère étape
Lancez iChat depuis le Dock ou le dossier Applications.

Comment configurer le chat Facebook dans iChat

2nde étape
Selectionnez Preferences... dans le menu iChat.

3ème étape
Sélectionnez l'onglet Comptes puis cliquez sur le bouton + dans le coin inférieur droit de la fenêtre pour ajouter un nouveau compte.

4ème étape
Sélectionnez Jabber dans le champ Type de compte .

Entrez votre Nom du compte ainsi votrenom@chat.facebook.com en remplaçant votrenom par votre véritable identifiant Facebook. Par exemple: iclarified@chat.facebook.com. Puis entrez votre mot de passe dans le champ présent à cet effet.

Déroulez le menu Options du serveur et écrivez chat.facebook.com dans le champ Serveur, ainsi que 5222 pour le port.

Cliquez sur le bouton Terminé pour continuer. Remarquez que le nouveau compte est apparu dans la liste sur la gauche.

5ème étape
Vous pouvez maintenant vosu identifier et utiliser iChat pour dialoguer avec vos contacts Facebook!

in username.!!?? i have to put for example my email is jean_108@hot... i have to put jean_108@chat.face....????

Wait, so is our email address that we use to sign into facebook our 'username' or is our username on our computer

@Eric - This does work. Maybe you can't follow instructions.
@Anthony - This is your facebook username. This is not the email address you log in with. You can choose your facebook username at http://www.facebook.com/username/

This did not say that you have to go to facebook and set it up. You have to set a username plus click on another link. I followed all the instructions given here. Then found the rest of the instructions from Facebook. It works now, but I'm not liking iChat, Adium is better IMHO.

It's not working for me, not recognizing my password from FB!!!!! I went in and created a username in FB and did the steps here mentioned but to no avail.

Did the same as Miguel and it spits at me when I enter my facebook password. Wonder why that is. Everything else is set up correctly.

OR download Adium and just log in.
