Apple has officially renewed its Emmy-nominated travel series "The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy" for a fourth season.
The upcoming eight-episode season will push the host and executive producer further out of his comfort zone. After three seasons on the road, Levy is attempting to say "yes" more frequently to the types of unfamiliar experiences and unexpected challenges he would have instinctively turned down in the past.
Levy said he has "begrudgingly" accepted that saying yes to new experiences is not necessarily a bad thing and plans to approach the strategy with "considerable caution."
The series has earned critical acclaim for its mix of travel documentary and comedy, picking up multiple award wins and Emmy nominations since its debut. Season three featured appearances from Prince William, Michael Bublé, and Levy's daughter Sarah, with Apple teasing more special guests in the upcoming season.
Twofour produces the series for Apple TV. Levy executive produces alongside David Brindley, Nic Patten, Lily Fitzpatrick, Iain Peckham, and Adam Barry. The complete first three seasons are currently available to stream globally.
