Download the New Golden Gate Day and Evening Wallpapers From macOS 27 Beta 6

Apple has added two new Golden Gate Bridge wallpapers to macOS 27.

Named "Golden Gate Day" and "Golden Gate Evening," the backgrounds expand the scenic collection introduced earlier in the macOS 27 beta cycle. They first appeared in macOS 27 beta 6, build 26A5416b.


Golden Gate Day presents a bright view of the bridge stretching across the bay beneath a blue sky, with the Marin Headlands visible in the distance.

Golden Gate Evening offers a moodier perspective, framing the bridge beneath dramatic clouds as warm light breaks through near the horizon.

The uncropped source images have a resolution of 4096 × 2160 pixels.


Golden Gate Day and Golden Gate Evening join the Golden Gate Sunset and Golden Gate Night backgrounds introduced in beta 3, expanding Apple's scenic Golden Gate collection to four wallpapers. macOS 27 also includes an abstract Golden Gate wallpaper in light and dark variants.
