Apple is Missing Huge Opportunity in China

Apple is missing out on a huge opportunity in China according to Liu Chuanzhi, the head of Lenovo. The company is China's biggest PC maker with about 30 per cent of its home market.

“We are lucky that Steve Jobs has such a bad temper and doesn’t care about China. If Apple were to spend the same effort on the Chinese consumer as we do, we would be in trouble.”

The Lenovo founder expects China eventually to replace the US as a global trend-setter in technology due to its high consumption.

Apple is making an effort to expand into the region with up to 25 stores to be opened in the next two years; however, its been suggested that the company could do more in the region.
