Here's the deal if you are having MMS issues after UL. Make sure your Cydia is up to date. Get the MMS/FaceTime patch fix. Also, it seems that SB Settings is affecting MMS. Uninstalling SB Settings should fix the MMS issue. Currently, I'm participating in a HoFo thread about this issue, lotsa good info shared.

Where do we find the patch? What is SB? I'm trying to figure out what that is to remove it.

Anyone having problems with MMS? My pics are not going through.
winterkid87 - August 4, 2010 at 11:32am
I am! I can't send or receive them. There's no option for MMS in my messages app or if I open an image.

Yes, you will have that problem. Just restore your phone and don't unlock. Yeah subscriptions!

Will this work for 3GS on 4.01?
Steve Jobs - August 4, 2010 at 11:47am
No! Don't do it! It will brick your phone.

Since the JB and unlock has anyone else been experiencing fast battery drainage??? or is it just me .....
aznbimmer - August 4, 2010 at 8:50am
Really?!? U just unlocked it and already noticed battery issues? From the time the unlock came out till the time you posted (a little less than three hours) and you can notice a difference already? Its probably just you.

I have had this happen in the past... my battery dropped drastically within just 20 minutes. I did a restore and things went back to normal.
Dan - August 4, 2010 at 9:39am
You don't have to be a douche about it.. He was just trying to see if anyone else was having the problem. It's not that hard to see your battery percent go down. Oh wait open your eyes jerk.
RPN - August 4, 2010 at 11:38am
you're not the only one seeing fast battery drainage. I noticed this after I jailbroke my iphone 4.

CometMan - August 4, 2010 at 4:39pm

Ok guys! REALLY need your help here. I'm thinking of being the iphone 4 contract free in the USA today. It is still tied to AT%T. In order to jailbreak the iphone you need access to safari. Is there anyway you could jailbreak and unlock the phone if it's not activated? Is there any workaround for this issue? Thanks for your help guys!!

Activate the phone with ANY phone book sim connect to WIFI Jail Break
Alex - August 4, 2010 at 9:42am
Thx, I checked those videos. but apparently that doesn't work on iphone 4!

If you're buying it contract free, why do you care about going this difficult route. Just perform a regular activation and them jailbreakunlock.

I have jailbroken and unlocked my iPhone 4 in Tajikistan and cut the sim card for a local carrier down to micro-sim size and the phone works like a charm.

Installs quick and easily as always. My iPhone is now back to how I want it. Jailbroken, unlocked (for when I'm abroad i can put local sim in), SBsettings, lockinfo, installous. What more does anyone want from a phone :)
