A programmer at a major software publisher claims to have seen the specs for the 3G iPhone, according to a report by Cult of Mac.
Leander Kahney, the author of Inside Steve's Brain, has received a tip which said that the iPhone 2 will be announced by Steve Jobs at Apples WWDC on June 9, and will much offer more for much less and be thinner to boot.
The tipster says the iPhone 2 will have: * 3G * GPS * 2 x memory (16GB and 32GB) * 22 percent thinner * Better battery life
He also claims Apple will subsidize the iPhones price to better compete with RIMs Blackberry. This coincides with what was reported earlier today.

I hope these are true about iphones being sold for cheaper price. Although i feel, O2 will only sell it at the cheaper price if the highest contract is signed.
