More 3G iPhone Specs Leaked?

A programmer at a major software publisher claims to have seen the specs for the 3G iPhone, according to a report by Cult of Mac.

Leander Kahney, the author of Inside Steve's Brain, has received a tip which said that the iPhone 2 will be announced by Steve Jobs at Apple’s WWDC on June 9, and will much offer more for much less — and be thinner to boot.

The tipster says the iPhone 2 will have:
* 3G
* GPS
* 2 x memory (16GB and 32GB)
* 22 percent thinner
* Better battery life


He also claims Apple will subsidize the iPhone’s price to better compete with RIM’s Blackberry. This coincides with what was reported earlier today.
