iPhone Dev-Team Posts Video of New 3G Baseband Tool

The iPhone Dev-Team has posted a demo video of a new 3G Baseband Tool in action.

The video shows a dev team member connecting to the iPhone 3G via SSH. The Kernel version is then displayed and then they connect to the baseband. The baseband information is displayed and then the DevTeam's PMB8878 baseband tool is invoked using a custom AT command.


This is definite progress towards an unlock... You can view the video below!

Great news Dev team, might be worth getting your iphone now, because once the Dev team deliver, stocks will be so dry

I wish these guys would stop publishing this cryptic stuff. What does this mean?!?! Does it mean that we can expect an unlock soon, or is it just technobabble?
