iPhone Dev-Team Posts Video of New 3G Baseband Tool

The iPhone Dev-Team has posted a demo video of a new 3G Baseband Tool in action.

The video shows a dev team member connecting to the iPhone 3G via SSH. The Kernel version is then displayed and then they connect to the baseband. The baseband information is displayed and then the DevTeam's PMB8878 baseband tool is invoked using a custom AT command.

This is definite progress towards an unlock... You can view the video below!

wow, seriously this is impressive, i've been waiting along time for this, when i 1st got the 3G i was regretting selling my previous iphone, but this might just be the icing on the cake we craved for so long.
