TechBargins publishes the results of its survey to discover what moms want this Mother's Day.
In perhaps an obvious choice, 91% of moms want iPads over flowers this year. Of those who want tech gifts, 51% want a tablet, 16% want a mp3 player, 14% want a laptop, and 9% want an e-reader. Of those who want a tablet, 58% want an iPad and 18% want a Kindle Fire.

Uhm, how old were the mothers polled? Cuz I know my mom can't even spell IPad, let alone request one over flowers! She's 100% happy with the signed Mother's day card. It's more the thought that counts to any REAL Mother out there.

When did every holiday or appreciation day develop a prerequisite for gift giving? This is pathetic. What happened to just spending time with those people and enjoying life? Now we have to spend $500 on gifts for valentines, mothers day, fathers day, thanksgiving, etc. come on....
