SquareTrade today expanded its warranty to cover jailbroken iPhones, according to a CNET report.
Despite being legal, jailbreaking your iPhone could void your Apple warranty. Now SquareTrade is offering their own warranty for added security and coverage. A spokesperson confirmed that its new policy affects both new and existing coverage holders; however, it's unclear if iPads or iPods are covered under the service.

Who cares about their warranty??? AppleCare plus is only $100 $50 for an incident.
Why bother with their warranty?
I've replaced jail broken iPhones at Apple without any issue. What Apple does is (if it's a software issue) is they restore it and if the iPhone or iPad still has the issue they just replace it. If its an accidental damage then they don't even bother with diagnostic or anything else, they just give the customer another iPhone or iPad for $50 as an AppleCare plus incident.
I would not recommend SquareTrade
