Livestation Live TV on the iPhone

Livestation, a peer-to-peer live television broadcasting application built on Microsoft Silverlight platform is set to announce an iPhone app, according to TechCrunch.

On Thursday Livestation will preview a development application for the iPhone/iPod Touch. Perhaps it will be the making of the platform? Who knows. But the irony to all this is that in 2006 Microsoft and Skinkers signed a technology for equity deal in 2006, a first for Microsoft in Europe at the time. So Microsoft will have a stake in bringing live TV to the iPhone. Nice.

Take a look at the video below or join Matteo Berlucchi and Jemima Kiss from The Guardian for a sneak preview of the development version of Livestation for the iPhone and iPod Touch on Thursday 04 December at 5pm GMT.
