Apple has been granted the U.S. Trademark for 'Retina' and the Game Center icon, reports Patently Apple.
On December 4, 2012, the US Patent & Trademark Office granted Apple two Registered Trademarks. The first trademark covers the word "Retina" representing Apple's brilliant Retina display that is currently integrated into the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and MacBook Pro. The second trademark covers the icon representing Apple's Game Centre. Both were officially granted to Apple on November 27 and published today.
