iOS 6.1.1 Beta Does Not Block Evasi0n Jailbreak But is Expected To By Release

Posted February 7, 2013 at 1:48pm by iClarified
The iOS 6.1.1 beta released yesterday by Apple does not block the Evasi0n jailbreak; however, it is expected to before the final build is released.

Pod2g, a member of the Evad3rs dev-team, tweets:

6.1.1 beta (10B311) does not fix the jailbreak. It'll probably happen in a future revision. Don't upgrade though, evasi0n won't let you jb.

The new firmware features major changes to Japan's Maps but little else.

Well, duh! Does Apple have any choice? The Jailbreak depends on security holes. The problem isn't that the team revealed how the jailbreak works to Apple. They also revealed the security holes to the entire world.

OF COURSE BECAUSE EVASION'S TEAM EXPLAINED HOW THE JAILBREAK WAS DONE. IF THEY DIDN'T MAYBE THERE WOULD BE A CHANCE OF IT NOT BEING BLOCKED. THEY WROTE ABOUT EVERY SINGLE HOLE THEY USED IN THE JB!

Even if they didn't say anything, the jailbreak is easily within Apple's reach and they can figure it out on their own. They kept their mouth shut in the past and didn't stop Apple one bit on closing the hole.
