Instructions worked beautifully, but would not let me set time longer than 30 seconds.

Brilliant, worked first time, your advice much appreciated.
Apple really should build this adjustment into their software and make it user friendly........they still have much to learn about customer service it seems.

Thanks for posting. Still can't believe Apple won't let you do this directly from the phone like every other mobile phone out there.

I believe it only works with phones on the At&T network

According to the O2 Gurus (tech support), there is a max 30 secs ringtone duration before forwarding to voicemail. If no voicemail is enabled and no call forwarding is enabled, then there is a longer max ring duration (not sure how long, though). I hope that helps. Plus, there are more instructions at http://www.appleiphonereview.com/tutorials/how-to-make-iphone-ring-longer/

I'm trying to reset the number of rings my S6 phone exercises before going to voicemail. As things stand, I'm missing ALL of my calls. These instructions are clear, but NO NUMBER comes up when I follow the instructions, so I can't enter a number my calls are forwarded to! In other words, this feature is not enabled. When I press on the "voice call forwarding" text, nothing happens. When I go to settings, "call forwarding" ASKS me for a number. I'm stumped.

Instructions beautiful, but will not work on our iPhone 6+, service by AT&T. Tried twice to set @ 40 sec, then tried @30. Error message every time. Looked at another thread - turns out we had to leave out the + sign to get it to work!

This didn't work on my 6+. It kept showing error. I tried to get 30 seconds and it wouldn't work. I need more than 20 seconds to get to my phone.

Thank you so much! Directions and screen shots were very helpful. (And I agree, I am surprised there's not an accessible option to do this simply from our phone menu)

Thanks,

if your on o2 dial **61*901*11* then the number of seconds from 0 to 30 in multiples of 5.
so it would read **61*901*11*15# would be 15 seconds ringing before divert.

Tried it. My IPhone 6s came back with error. Only that voicemail will take after unanswered calls. Doesn't say how many rings. When I called my cell. I heard 4 rings on the phone I was calling from, but my cell only rings 3 times. Shouldn't be so difficult. Settings should be in phone settings. Thanks anyway.
