Apple is predicted to release two Retina Display iPad minis - one later this year and another in early 2014, according to a NPD DisplaySearch report relayed by CNET.
"We see two refreshes coming. One in the second half of this year, then one in Q1 [first quarter] of 2014," analyst Richard Shim told CNET late Sunday night.
"The Q1 [2014] device will have a Retina display plus an updated processor," Shim added.
Earlier Sunday night, NPD originally predicted that the first Retina Display iPad mini would be released in Q1 2014; however, they updated their prediction to indicate the early 2014 iPad would actually be the second refresh.
