But I thought you cared for every bit of their stuff! Does that mean you weren't who you were then?

I guess the only reason people would want a curved phone is if they want to glue it permanently to their face ... Other than that I think it's not a must have !

Yes, anything introduced before wouldn't be different by a curve but the way this company does it I am sure it's just the same thing for s4 which will come to s5.

iClarified moderator? Where are you? These racist, uneducated, and oft childish comments have simply got to stop. We expect the comments section to host intelligently articulated opinions regarding the article and product in question, not a battlefield for 14 year old social rejects to flex their pathetic egos by expressing their adoration or hatred towards a brand and it's associated fans. The continued allowance of these often irrelevant and offensive remarks is unacceptable. Please do something about it. Thank you for your consideration.

@morenonsenses you got tony fetish because you think and act like him thinking someone goes around every topic like it's his job, do you even know if you see the same email if it was there for example, that would be a give away to know if that's the same guy, not to mention there are thousands of others here doing it the same way but anytime there are long comments, some do the same depending on how big a reason of whatever is but when it comes to Samsung users, they act like that every time, maybe a few different apple fans like googay, apple guy, or any other user in here on an apple site replies, why would you know it's the same guy!

What's next, curved tv's, curved cameras, curved watches, curved chargers where everything is stretched out and not a perfect picture from angled views now?

So, now we're back to curved screen era.. Back then, we have convex screen followed by flat screen in late 90s.. Now, we have concave screen..

My HTC is the most spectacular phone ever, boom sound rocks big time. Like Apple and Samsung Nokia and BlackBerry but at the moment ONE is on the top.

Htc stands for "hit this crap" did it ever win awards like iPhone, does it not wobble when it lands on the ground, not to mention it's just the same as galasheep 4 and the screen almost covers the entire front making it easier to shatter, what about one hand use?

Is there a utility value of the phone's curved screen?

Yes! We need to go 'in the school' and get educated. You are correct, your advanced degree in grammar shows your level of education. I'll let your mom know you are ready to advance to the third grade.

I remember a time when getting a flat display was an upgrade

Why? Where do we need that curved screen? Looks stupid too.

How is this supposed to be useful? I remember when TV screens were curved. That caused distortion. An image on a curved surface is going to be distorted even if all horizontal and vertical lines are parallel. And if the screen isn't truly flexible so that you can bend it as you wish then it's even more pointless. A flexible screen, as seen in the movie "Red Planet" when the astronauts pulled out their map would be truly useful. Anything less is a waste of time.

For Apple's credit... The Gear was only made and rushed to mark to beat Apple's upcoming iWatch that had been trademarked all around the world already. EPIC hilarious fail by Samsuck.... oh and lets not over look that the gear commercial is a copy of the original iPhone commercial from 2007.

Build it flexed the other way and add straps and you can wear it on your wrist...its an ergonomic innovation not a technical one.
