lol why get this when you can get the chromecast for $25???

I don't mind Apple TV being expensive but I am happy with it the way it is jail broken or not.

Just looked up the roku device list and what each features all have, this one is almost like the 2nd version, technically a major downgrade.

So if it connects to the tv's in which the ports appear on the back, how will the remote read it now?

that's stupid have you ever heard of radio signal?? and why not the more competition is better for us and about the Comcast their is no comparison this one kicks it's A*ss, everybody that I know that bought a Comcast turned around sold it on eBay and got an Apple TV.

The Roku creates its own wifi network for the remote so the remote appears to work wirelessly. I hate that there's another wifi signal in the house (minimalist me) - but then again other dont have that luxury. I have both the Roku 3 and an Apple TV 2. Whatever others may say, the Apple TV trumps the Roku in usability; the Roku falls off my network SO many times I am having to reset it. Besides, everytime internet is down, so is the Roku. Otherwise it is a great piece for watching a ton of useless programming and a few good ones. The Apple TV, which is supposed to be a hobby, is more professional and even the jailbroken ones are SO much easier to set up and navigate.

Remember the prizefight video over Apple TV vs roku. It says roku won, that's so gullible to believe. I agree with you all the way.
