We've seen a lot of iPhone 6 parts popup across the web including the backlight panel, mockups, the front panel and many cases. Today, Macfixit Australia has obtained the back cover for the purported 4.7-inch iPhone 6. The larger 5.5-inch version of the device has yet to surface, which could point to a later release than the 4.7-inch model.
While there is no way to confirm the shell's authenticity, it does match many of the mockups that we've seen and has the distinct antenna breaks on the top and bottom as well as a circular cutout for the LED flash. The rear shell also has the rounded corner like the current iPod Touch and is similar in size. There appears to be a green film covering the majority of the back of the device, but you can see the white/silver appearing near the camera.
Apple is rumored to release a larger 5.5-inch iPhone along side the 4.7-inch model. Both phones are expected to pack a a 1704 x 960 resolution display bringing a higher pixel density, as well as an A8 processor, an improved camera and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

Yeah not too good looking. A step back as it emulates a cheaper apple product. I'm fine with it because I want the bigger screen. The biggest danger is that it looks too similar to other smartphone companies. Apple always had the hardware advantage. If that disappears then could potentially damage the brand image.

could have possibly been the item, but remember that it has to have 2 leds, not one for the camera flash

Like I've mentioned to everyone else that brings this up. Look at the size of the hole for the flash. It's double the size as the round flash they use to use on the 4 and 4S. They're obviously incorporating both flashes into a round shape instead of the pill shaped they used on the 5S. How hard is that to think of. They wouldn't get rid of the True Tone flash after using it for only a year. It's just going to round this time around.

IF that shell is accurate, then I bet this phone will have a glowing Apple logo. Maybe to notify of incoming calls or messages when the phone is face down. You can clearly see that the apple logo is see through.

Good eye. It looks like it's carved in. You may be on to something.

It would be cool if that's what they do. But it might just be like the iPads which have plastic or metal apple logos in the casings cutout. Which is a wifi window. Hope it is a glowing indicated light though.

It is near developer conference and these still can't die? When will people know apple is already coming up with this in a few days, why would they still listen to these guys?

Now the lens are a little more to the right along with the flash which is single led? Yeah right. WWDC will exactly prove the rumors wrong.

Why would they revert back to a single LED flash? I'd also be bummed if they went back to the rounded edges

Look at that round flashes size compared to the ones on the 4 and 4S. It's double the size or even more. I highly doubt they would get rid of the true tone flash after a year. That's all they're doing is incorporating it into a round flash instead of pill shaped.
