What will happen with current apps like Microsoft Office and Quicken. I need those apps and not sure I want to go thru another ordeal where they didn't work. One of my printers wasn't supported either. I hope that won't happen any more. It is a bit concerning to me when these changes come along...

I wonder if it is feasible that with the new system there can also be a link to just revert it to the previous system without trying to figure out how to do that or hoping the prevevious system is still available.

Thanks to APPLE for including our "older" macs. I am for one most appreciative and so is my 2009 17" Macbook Pro.

I have an early 2008 MBP and it Mavericks made it unusable. I had to reinstall Mountain Lion. I doubt that Yosemite will be much better.

The newer the macs the better it works, yours can't support it but my late 2013 retina pro can, I doubt anything goes wrong.

If it doesn't have the old looks included then I will not upgrade, you know how you can customize the dock and all?
