Apple has launched its 2026 Back to School promotion in the United States, giving qualified education customers an Apple Gift Card worth up to $150 with the purchase of select Mac and iPad models. The offer is available from July 16 through August 27 through the Apple Store for Education, Apple Store locations, and 1-800-MY-APPLE.
Customers who purchase a MacBook Pro receive a $150 Apple Gift Card, while purchases of a MacBook Air, iPad Pro, or iPad Air include a $100 Apple Gift Card. The gift card can be redeemed toward future purchases of Apple products, accessories, apps, subscriptions, and other eligible items.
The promotion is available to higher education students who are enrolled or accepted, parents purchasing on behalf of eligible higher education students, higher education faculty and staff, and eligible K–12 employees, including homeschool teachers, school board members, and certain PTA and PTO officers.
Orders placed during the promotional period remain eligible even if they ship after August 27, provided they were ordered before the offer ends. Apple also limits the promotion to one gift card per qualified purchaser for eligible Mac purchases and one gift card per qualified purchaser for eligible iPad purchases.
If an eligible product is returned, the accompanying Apple Gift Card must also be returned. If the gift card has been redeemed or is not returned, its full value will be deducted from the refund.
The promotion excludes refurbished, open-box, and end-of-life products, and purchases made through channels outside qualifying Apple sales locations. More information, including complete eligibility requirements and terms, is available on Apple's Back to School promotion.
