These are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone 6 Plus, 6, 5s, 5c, 5, 4s on iOS 8.0 - 8.1.1 using TaiG for Windows...

If you aren't already at iOS 8.1.1 we suggest upgrading to the latest firmware using iTunes. You can find download links for iOS 8.1.1 here. We've also posted instructions on how to update the firmware of your iPhone. Please note that you must update using iTunes rather than Software Update. If you used Software Update you should do a backup then restore to iOS 8.1.1 using iTunes.

Step One
Create an iClarified folder on your desktop and download the latest version of TaiG into the folder. If your download is a zip file then extract the archive into the same folder.

Step Two
Tap Settings from your Springboard then select Touch ID & Passcode. Turn Passcode Off if it is enabled.

Step Three
Press the Settings button at the top left to return to the Settings menu. Choose iCloud from the Settings menu then select Find My iPhone from the iCloud menu. Ensure the Find My iPhone switch is the Off position.

Step Four
Connect your iPhone to the computer via a USB cable, launch iTunes, and perform a manual backup. It is very important that you remember to backup your device before continuing as you could lose your data if the jailbreak process does not complete successfully.

Step Five
Double click the TaiGJBreak executable from the iClarified folder on your desktop to launch the application.

Even when you take your iPhone to the Apple Store they now ask you to disable find my iphone and passcode lock in case something goes wrong it could create a boot loop. If you're that paranoid just don't jailbreak in the first place.

True, that! I don't know much Chinese. Had the same problem as the guy above. But, used Google Translate with www.taig.com and downloaded the 1.0.1 version. Worked smoothly! Did not know, that 1.0.0 (thru taig_1006.zip) app was suggesting me to download the latest version. It was not detecting my phone at all. But, version 1.0.1 (thru taig_1010.zip) detected the phone right away and with no issue jailbreaking it. All the best.
