After emailing developers earlier in the week about a price increase, Apple today increased all prices in the European Union, Canada, Norway, and Russia. The price increase is due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates and tax increases in other countries.
Apps that were priced $0.99 in the United States increased from £0.69 to £0.79 in the UK, $0.99 to $1.19 in Canada, and €0.89 to €0.99 in EU countries. Iceland saw app prices decrease from where they previously were.
Just last week, Apple raised prices for the developer program in Germany and UK as well.
