AT&T and T-Mobile have both posted new teaser images revealing the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone and its curved display.
T-Mobile CEO John Legere tweeted, "Was there even a question? Of course @TMobile will carry The Next Big Thing!" linking the image.
Just a few days ago, Samsung posted a video teaser for the upcoming Galaxy S6 smartphone that hints it has a metal design and a curved anti-reflection display.
Samsung is set to unveil the new smartphone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on March 1st at which point it will likely become the main rival to the Apple iPhone 6.

Copying and stealing are two different things here. You copy a DVD and attempt to make a profit is bad. but if you steal an ideal and improve on it is fine. And one should not take the word "perfect" lightly. To perfecting is hard. Apple is both innovative and striking for perfection. There should be no question about that. But to say a phone is ugly its a question of taste. you can say it but don't try so hard to sound like you want others to identify to your taste.

I wonder how a case will work, with that curved screen on the side.
Not that I am a case fanboy, just curious.

I had thought about that as well !

Another gimmick from Samsung, the "appeal" did not work on the Galaxy Note 4 and surely will not work for Galaxy S6...curve screen is a useless gimmick on TV, tablets, and smartphone screens. I will stick with my normal screened-devices.

But If I did this to the iPhone you would think it was revolutionary right? Just like big screens, mobile payments, smart watches etc. The Apple of Steve Jobs is no longer here...

More like reverting back to the 1950s where we were doing better without curving the screen, but what in the right mind would be so revolutionary about it,cheat purpose does it even serve, in fact what gestures is it doing other than limiting the way we hold our devices without touching the screen at all?

But what's the point of bending the lcd to the sides? It just increases the chance of shattering it and reverting back to the 1950s and reviving that idea we got rid of.

If they can make good use of the curved edges good but if they're there for launching app and notifications then its useless

When iPhone 5s came out in gold, Galaxy s4 came out in gold about a week later. Apple Watch has been in the workings for 4 years or more, Galaxy Gear was a rush job that keeps being tweaked and re-released with the cycle of the moon. when touch id came out on 5s, s5 had a fingerprint reader too! one month later. People say iPhone 6 looks like a galaxy, but just no. They may both be rectangles but that's where the similarities end. The Galaxy is made of plastic! until now, when Samsung puts the rounded metal on their phone. Rounded? Metal? Familiar? iPhone 6! the very foundations of Samsungs smartphone industry is copied off the original iPhone anyway! Before you go criticizing Apple for making their screen a bit bigger or for making it so gorgeously thin that the camera sticks out a tiny bit, or say that Apple copies everything, look at the REAL facts, not your made up facts.

What a bad ad.. Six-appeal sex-appeal word play is so bad.. Apart from that could be an iPhone 6 ad for non-experts, if you don't look at the logo

Cant really see it but I would never get a Samsung. Who knows what software it will run. There are like 10 versions out in the wild. The interface is ugly and they keep chasing the next big thing but miss the mark every time. What don't they make their 10th watch in 10 months?

iphone 6 is back to stone age its like 1st gen iphone with big screen. And it is even uglier with protruding camera and thick white line.

gamerscul9870 - February 23, 2015 at 8:58pm
no it's not, it doesn't have the thickness, volume buttons are up to date rather than being together again, 30 pin charger isn't there, camera sticks out like anything but who cares ugly or not, other have it because technology, even the display ain't even pixelated like the 1st gen or slower. It's less uglier with stickers to make it 5s style but even that and the 6 don't even look ok like the first iphone.

I agree where deluded.

i think 6 is the ugliest iphone ever

gamerscul9870 - February 23, 2015 at 9:06pm
The first one was and only that. Stickers for the 6 resemble iPhone 5s but the camera, who cares, it's just a tiny change.

Great, Samsung has officially reverted back to the 50s with every device BUT the laptop becoming curved lcd displays. Welcome to shattering the glass easier era.
