An image of the rumored BlackBerry smartphone running Android has been posted online by @evleaks.
The smartphone is reportedly named 'Venice' and "is actually quite the looker."
Last month Reuters said that BlackBerry was looking to release an Android phone as part of a strategy to focus on software and device management.
It is not clear whether a move to use Android would spell the end of the company's BlackBerry 10 line of devices that were initially launched to much fanfare in early 2013. After positive early reviews, the late-to-launch BlackBerry devices haven't competed well with Android or Apple, mainly due to a lack of big name apps.
The Venice smartphone appears to have a keyboard that slides out from under the display. The leaked image also reveals that the device will run Google's suite of apps.
Take a look!

Blackberry market share is less than 2% and barely has no one using their dying OS? They just can't die already. It's tiger games all over again the way avgn explained it.
