iPad Pro With 2048x2732 Display Shows Up in Appsee Analytics

The much rumored iPad Pro has surfaced in Appsee's app analytics sporting a 2048x2732 pixel display.

Our logs show a new device, named “iPad6,8” with the size of… 2,048×2,732 pixels (1024×1366 points). This evidence is aligned with previous findings and based on several live apps – making it very concrete. So it’s here, and it’s huge.

Appsee also notes that the device running iOS 9.1, further supporting predictions of a November release.

Their logs also revealed an iPhone 8,1 and iPhone 8,2, likely the iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone 6s; however, those were already spotted by Fiksu.

WHY?????? That's like asking for it on iPhone.

Why? Because Microsoft already proved that an OS that is made to be trackpad or mouse controlled isn't represented well with a touch interface. Windows 10 does have the "Tablet Mode" option, which, if done better by Apple , could be a switcher between OS X and iOS on the same device...but maybe require a trackpad for OS X mode usage. Basically have OS X as the true OS on the device, but when tablet mode is enabled, have the GUI switch to mimic iOS. Just an idea...but I think it's a good one.
