Samsung Takes Aim at Apple Pay in New Samsung Pay Ad [Video]

Posted January 22, 2016 at 2:57pm by iClarified
Samsung takes aim at Apple Pay in a new ad for Samsung Pay featuring Hannibal Buress and Katz's Deli.

Hannibal Buress + Samsung Pay + Katz’s Deli pastrami sandwich = hot take on an old classic.

With Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) and Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies, Samsung Pay works with most existing point-of-sale (POS) terminals. That means it works almost anywhere you can swipe your credit card or debit card, unlike Apple Pay which often requires an updated terminal. Buress shows this off in the ad, surprising the workers at Katz's, by paying for his pastrami sandwich via Samsung Pay.

Take a look at the ad below...

Let's not forget this was the second time they did this marketing shit just like the so-called wall hugger so. I say that because I didn't see any at airports nor was I or my friends every stuck with batteries in the middle of the day, but also the fact that I owned several chargers without using a wall outlet since 2012 for only my iOS devices. I'm going to show how wrong Samsung truest is. They can't hide everything.

I remember using touch less with my iPhone at Walmart Canada and then they switched the terminals. around the time the big Corp. Were talking about their own pay system and were muscling out the one who were supporting Apple Pay. What ever happened to that?

Like being self centered about it once wasn't enough, they had to do it twice?
