Apple to Update 15-inch MacBook Pro With 32GB of Desktop RAM?

Apple is expected to update its new 15-inch MacBook Pro with Kaby Lake architecture and 32GB of desktop RAM later this year, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

In a research note obtained by AppleInsider, Kuo predicts that Apple will start manufacturing an updated 15-inch MacBook Pro in the fourth quarter of 2017. The new MacBook will allegedly adopt desktop RAM due to restrictions of current memory system designs. As we noted earlier, Intel's H-Series processors do not support LPDDR4.

Kuo also predicts an update for the 12-inch MacBook that will enter mass production in the second quarter of 2017. It's believed that the notebook will retain the same design but get 16GB of RAM and a new processor.

New 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro models with upgraded processors are expected to enter mass production in the third quarter of 2017.

This would make them sell a ton of MacBook Pro! User switchable ram of 32GB. Maybe will take upto 128GB of ram once it's available on the market! Ready to go beast mode. I'll take 2 15" MBP's stat!

If they didn't load it up with the most expensive RAM it'd be just a piece of Intel crap that you can buy anywhere and put any dumb OS you want on it.
