Apple has unveiled its design for a new 'Piazza Liberty' Apple Store in Milan, Italy.
We are incredibly happy to be in the center of Milan, a city that for centuries combines creativity and innovation. In these months we will work to give you a new Liberty Square: an open space for everyone to take a break, find out with friends, discover new interests.
The store is situated beneath an outdoor amphitheater.
The store is there but you do not see it. Thanks to an original architectural solution, it is hidden beneath the cozy outdoor amphitheater. It will be the perfect place to share your passions, discover new ones and deepen your skills.
To get into the store you walk down steps that cut through two waterfalls.
It goes down to the store passing through two tall water walls: those that form the great fountain, tribute to the Italian squares and the close link between Milan and its navies.
Apple hopes the location will become a meeting point and inspiration, a 'crossroads of technology and creativity in the center of Milan'.
