I downloaded to Firmware 1.1.1 using iTunes 7.6. When I run iBrickr 0.91 I get the green screen (no reboot). What can I do to get the phone out of recovery mode?

Generally you will get Error (1) if you just attempted a restore without rebooting the iPhone into recovery mode first. Did you reboot into recovery(DFU) mode ?

I got the same error. there are two methods to get out of it. use iBrckr and select download to 1.0.2. It will kick the phone into recovery mode and then you can do the usual Shift-Restore to select the 1.1.1 restore file. the other method is to use iPhuc as ocumented http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showpost.php?p=201215&postcount=26. iBrckr worked for me.

for the issue where the step: " install AppSnapp" is not working for some phones. I discover that we need to touch the install AppSnapp and keep our finger for few seconds. beleive me it is working.

Hi there, my iphone came with 1.1.2 OTB but foolishly I upgraded to 1.1.3, I have the 4.9 bootloader. However I am happy with my O2 contract I don't need to activate or unlock my phone, can I purely jailbreak it so I can use installer.app?

John: I read your comment and I have managed to downgrade my 1.1.3 (accidentally upgraded 1.1.2 OTB iPhone). I used instead of iBrickr "iPhuc" to do the initial procedure of removing the DFU state of my iPhone. I actually don't recall now where I got iPhuc (I did a google search and downloaded it) you have to run couple of times iPhuc in order to move forward from the DFU status. Once all is done, you will be at the same stage I am which is, an iPhone without the phone capabilities... I'm just in a situation whereas I'm waiting for a new procedure to downgrade my baseband from 4.6 to 3.9 so I can actually use the phone bit. If you have questions let me know and I'll send you all the files I've used (including iClarified's tutorial) to make my iPhone unlock. My e-mail is juanconsuegra@aim.com

I still can't downgrade from 1.1.3..I'm assuming bootloader 4.6 still can't be downgraded..I was left with unkknown error (1) after attempting to restore. I was left with the iPhone in restore mode (easily taken out through ibrickr). I was left back with my old 1.1.3 firmware and old settings.

Before anything thanks so much for such a nice work on this tutorial! I feel it has been a huge effort to pull this whole thing up
My question is though, I´ve accidentally upgraded using iTunes to version 1.1.3 my OTB 1.1.2 iPhone (which came with a 04.02_13G firmware) from what I've read here it hasn't been yet possible to downgrade a 4.6 bootloader iPhone. Will it be too risky to just copy all files from another 1.1.2 iPhone onto an accidentally upgrade one? will this cause a general failure?
Many thanks again for all the help.

Thumbs up for your nice pictorial downgrade walk through; anyway, I have, as of now, a jailbroken 1.1.3 iphone in working status with 4.02.13_G baseband and 3.9 bootloader, though I was wondering if I needed to downgrade my bootloader if I wanted to downgrade to 1.1.1 or just a simple anySIM would work well since I have some major Installer glitch which stops it from even loading the installer!
any idea would be appreciated.
