The new 2019 iPhone may feature a 10MP selfie camera, 10MP and 14MP rear lenses, a nearly square battery and a repositioned logic board, according to information provided by @OnLeaks and relayed by CompareRaja.

Earlier this week, @OnLeaks shared the design of two 'prototype' iPhones. Both had a triple-lens rear camera but each had a different camera bump.

Allegedly, two of the three rear sensors are 10-megapixel and 14-megapixel while the front camera is 10-megapixel.

The selfie camera placed in the display notch will be 10-megapixel. Notably, as per the ongoing rumors, Apple is planning to make changes to its front-facing TrueDepth Camera System that enables Face ID. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has said that the upcoming iPhones will feature a new flood illuminator to improve Face ID by lowering the impact of the invisible light from the environment. However, we cannot confirm this at the moment.

CompareRaja says that Apple has also made significant changes to the internal design of the device. The battery is now less of an L-shape and 'almost a big square now'. Additionally, the logic board has been moved to above the battery instead of being located next to it.

The prototype reportedly still uses a Lightning port despite rumors that Apple may switch to USB-C.

It's still early in the development/production process so a lot could change before release this fall. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, or RSS for updates.
