Apple to Introduce New Ceramic Casing Design for Apple Watch, Expand ECG Support to Additional Countries

Apple is planning to introduce a new ceramic casing design for the Apple Watch this year and expand its ECG feature to additional countries, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The analyst only briefly mentioned the Apple Watch in an investor note that predicted Apple would release a new 16-inch MacBook Pro and 31.6-inch 6K display this year. Kuo also details his expectations for updates to iPhone, iPad, and AirPods.


While this year's Apple Watch Series 4 has a ceramic back, Apple discontinued its ceramic Edition models last year. It appears we could see a high-end Apple Watch model reappear later this year.
