Apple has made it significantly cheaper to upgrade the amount of SSD storage when configuring your new Mac.
Storage pricing has been reduced across the entire lineup including the MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Pro.
Looking at the entry-level 15-inch MacBook Pro with 256GB, the upgrade options are now priced as follows:
● 512GB SSD storage + $200.00
● 1TB SSD storage + $400.00
● 2TB SSD storage + $800.00
● 4TB SSD storage + $1,600.00
Previously, they were $200, $600, $1200, and $3000.
For most devices, the 1TB upgrades have dropped by $200 and the 2TB upgrades have dropped by $400.
