SSD storage delivers significantly improved performance compared with a traditional hard drive — speed you will notice when you start up your Mac Pro, launch an application, open a big project, or tackle data-intensive tasks. SSD storage has no moving parts, so it operates silently. And Mac Pro storage is powered by the Apple T2 Security Chip and is always encrypted.
