Pebble, an Indian brand that makes smartwatches, headphones, and speakers, has launched a knockoff of the new Apple Watch Ultra.
The smartwatch is dubbed the 'Pebble Cosmos Engage' and it features nearly the exact same case design as the Apple Watch Ultra.
According to the company's website, the Cosmos Engage has a 1.95-inch always-on display with a resolution of 320x385 and 600 nits of brightness. Compare that to the Apple Watch Ultra with a 49mm (1.93-inch) always-on display with a resolution of 410x502 and 2000 nits of peak brightness.
The Pebble Cosmos Engage claims to support wireless charging and Bluetooth calling. It's also said to offer a sleep monitor, blood pressure monitor, heart rate monitor, and multisport tracking. Battery life allegedly lasts up to five days and the watch features IP67 dust and water resistance.
We haven't personally tried the Cosmos Engage; however, as with most knockoffs, you get what you pay for. The Apple Watch Ultra costs $799 (on sale for $779). The Pebble Cosmos Engage costs ₹3,999 or about $48.36 USD but the company's website is currently showing it sold out. If you've handled one of these, please let us know your thoughts in the comments.
It's unclear if Apple plans to take legal action against Pebble to stop sales of the smartwatch. Make sure to follow iClarified for updates. Also, check out some more images and an unboxing of the Cosmos Engage below...

The article should mention that this is not the Pebble smartwatch brand that was bought out by Fitbit in 2016

I have an original Apple watch and seen so many adds for the fake. Cos its so cheap i was like let me see and buy what this fake is all about. To my suprise its awesome. Works well. Has all the features. The problem is that its not a few hundred dollars cheaper... otherwise i would stick to apple, for 45$ its awesome. It looks and feels great and till now no one has made the difference unless i tell them.
