Sinecure Industries' newest release for the iPhone and iPod touch is Backlash, a steampunk inspired physics-based puzzle game. The goal of the game is simple enough: to flick a ball to a goal. The only catch is that there are environmental hazards that bounce you around, speed you up, slow you down, and in later levels, blow you entirely across the screen. All of this is occurring while a vigilant internal security force is tracking you down, and will hone in on you if you bounce one too many times.
Backlash provides great puzzle gameplay in a very unique environment, and it is a challenge to figure out the best path to the goal, some of which heavily involve the use of the unique environmental hazards. Fans of realistic physics will enjoy what the ball is put through as you guide it deeper and deeper in a giant, working machine to find a way out. For those players that get frustrated with puzzles, there is also the option to play in Free Mode. There are no bounce limits and you have a chance to not only enjoy the unique level design and attention to detail but find your own way through the machine. Original game music graciously provided by Chemtrail.
Pricing and Availability: Backlash 1.0 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.
