Apple TV subscribers can now stream the full 2026 Major League Soccer season at no extra cost as the league kicks off its 31st campaign this weekend. MLS is Back weekend runs February 21 and 22, with all 30 clubs taking the pitch. Subscribers in more than 100 countries and regions get access to every match with zero blackouts, along with in-depth coverage and exclusive content.
A notable addition to this year's broadcast schedule is the Walmart Saturday Showdown, a featured weekly matchup. The spotlight game will feature enhanced production elements designed to bring viewers closer to the action. Following technical tests during last year's MLS Cup, broadcasts will integrate "Shot on iPhone" moments captured using dynamic camera angles to highlight key on-field action. The Saturday Showdown debuts February 21 at 9:30 p.m. ET, as MLS MVP Lionel Messi and Inter Miami CF face off against Son Heung-Min and LAFC live from the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Thirteen of the league's fifteen season openers will take place on Saturday. Opening weekend concludes with the return of Sunday Night Soccer, presented by Continental Tire. The flagship weekly broadcast begins February 22 at 7 p.m. ET with a bicoastal matchup between the LA Galaxy and New York City FC, featuring dedicated in-stadium pre- and postgame shows, enhanced production, and bespoke graphics in English and Spanish.
Apple continues to integrate the league across its broader software ecosystem. Fans can track real-time scores, standings, betting odds, and play-by-play stats in the free Apple Sports app for iPhone. The app syncs with favorites selected in the My Sports experience across Apple TV and Apple News. With iOS 18 and watchOS 11, users can view Live Activities for MLS matches directly on their iPhone and Apple Watch Lock Screens.
Distribution is expanding for both residential and commercial viewers this season. DIRECTV customers can now access Apple TV's live sports programming, including MLS matches and Formula 1 in the U.S., directly within their DIRECTV experience. EverPass will offer commercial establishments access to Apple TV's complete live sports portfolio through the EverPass Core package. Comcast is integrating Apple TV's live sports into Xfinity X1 and the Xfinity Stream app channel guides, providing seamless access to MLS coverage in English and Spanish. Comcast and Apple are also unlocking free access to MLS 360, the live whip-around studio show covering every match, for all Xfinity customers.
A subscription to Apple TV includes the full MLS 2026 season at no additional charge. Full-season MLS club ticket holders also receive a subscription as part of their ticket package. Coverage extends beyond the regular season to include the Leagues Cup, Michelob ULTRA Campeones Cup, MLS All-Star Game, and the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
