YouTube has announced that the YouTube TV app now supports Multiview on the iPhone and iPad.

When watching in multiview on YouTube TV, you get up to four predefined live streams simultaneously on one single screen without switching between channels.

In a support document, YouTube says users "may see 2–4 streams shown together based on program start and end times" and notes that Multiview is currently available on:
● Smart TVs and streaming media players
● iPhone and iPad devices (AirPlay not supported)

How to Open Multiview to Watch Multiple Channels at Once
You can select one of our pre-set multiview streams from a few different places within the YouTube TV app on your smart TV or iOS device:

● From the Home tab, you may see multiview stream options in the "Top Picks for You" or "Watch in multiview" rows. Choose a multiview stream to open it.
● From the Home, Live, or Search tabs, choose a live game to open it. If available, select Watch in multiview.

To close a multiview stream, hit the back button.

Notably, you can also see real-time team and player stats, scores and key plays...

● Open the YouTube TV app
● Select a game to start watching
● Swipe from right to left at the bottom of the screen. You'll see stats, key plays, and league scores for the game and league you're watching
● To turn off views and return to the main video, swipe left to right at the bottom of the screen on your mobile device
