iOS 17 Adoption Reaches 77% [Chart]

Apple has announced that iOS 17 adoption has reached 77% and iPadOS 17 adoption has reached 68%. This is the first update the company has provided on iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 adoption since February 4, 2024.
As of June 9, 2024, 77% of iPhone users are on iOS 17, 14% are on iOS 16, and 9% are using an earlier version. That number jumps to 86% for devices introduced in the last four years. In February, 66% of iPhone users were on iOS 17.
For iPad, 68% of users are on iPadOS 17, 17% are on iPadOS 16, and 15% are on an earlier version. That jumps to 77% for devices introduced in the last four years. In February, 53% of iPad users were on iPadOS 17.
Apple released iOS 17.5.1 and iPadOS 17.5.1 last month. Developers have been seeded with betas of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 to test ahead of release this fall.
