Amazon has officially set the dates for its biggest sale of the year, announcing that Prime Day 2025 will run from July 8 through July 11. This expands the event to four full days, or 96 hours, giving Prime members double the time to shop millions of deals compared to previous years. The company first teased a July event last month, but has now confirmed the extended 96-hour window.
New for this year, Amazon is introducing "Today's Big Deals," a feature that will drop themed daily deals from top brands like Samsung, Kiehl's, and Levi's. These offers will launch daily at midnight PDT and will be available for a limited time. Amazon also noted that some deals will drop as often as every five minutes during select periods of the event.
The Prime Day announcement campaign will feature basketball star LeBron James, and the event will include deals from his brand, The Shop Men's Grooming Line. This follows other major Amazon sales, like the Big Spring Sale, that have featured deep discounts on popular tech, including Apple-related accessories.
Prime members can also use Amazon's generative AI tools to find what they're looking for. This includes asking the shopping assistant Rufus for tailored deal recommendations or using the "Interests" feature to generate personalized offers based on hobbies like gaming or cooking. The newly launched Alexa+ will also help U.S. Prime members track deals on items in their cart or wish list, sending notifications when a product hits a preferred price.
The sale will kick off on July 8 in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and several other countries, with Ireland able to participate for the first time.
