Apple has released iOS 26.0.1 and iPadOS 26.0.1 to the public. This is the first minor update to the company's new mobile operating system, arriving just over a week after the major release of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26. The build number for this update is 23A345.
The update provides important bug fixes and security updates for iPhone and iPad. Specifically, the release addresses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity on the new iPhone 17 lineup, a cellular network issue for some users after updating, and unexpected artifacts in photos taken with the latest devices. It also fixes a problem where app icons could appear blank after adding a custom tint and an issue that could disable VoiceOver for some users.
These fixes target issues that have appeared since the initial software and hardware launch. The update for blank app icons is related to the new personalization features detailed in the iOS 26 release notes, while the connectivity and camera patches are aimed at the just-released iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air.
