Apple Receives Over 2 Million Ticket Requests for iTunes Festival 2010

Apple has received over 2 million ticket applications for iTunes Festival 2010, an event that features over 60 artists and 31 consecutive days of performances.

The festival will take place at Camden's Roundhouse in London. Every show will be recorded and made available on iTunes.


“We’ve already had over 2 million tickets applied for, at an average of 100,000 every day,” says Oliver Schusser, senior director of iTunes Europe. “This year’s iTunes Festival is looking like our most popular ever and we can’t wait for the Scissor Sisters to kick it off in three weeks time.”
