Apple has unveiled a first look and premiere date for "Lucky," a new limited series starring Anya Taylor-Joy. The company confirmed during its 2026 press day that the seven-episode drama will debut globally on Apple TV on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
The series will premiere with its first two episodes, followed by new installments every Wednesday through August 19. Based on the bestselling novel by Marissa Stapley, the story centers on a con artist named Lucky who is forced to go on the run after a heist goes sideways. Hunted by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss, she must fight for a way out.
The ensemble cast includes Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Drew Starkey, Clifton Collins Jr., and William Fichtner. The project comes from Apple Studios and Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine.
The series is created by Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as showrunner alongside Cassie Pappas. Tropper is also behind the drama Your Friends & Neighbors, recently renewed for a third season.
