Apple is reportedly planning a three-day product rollout next week, spreading announcements across Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday instead of hosting a single livestreamed keynote. The final day will include in-person hands-on sessions for invited media in New York, London, and Shanghai, signaling a broad update to the company's lineup.
According to Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter, the company is preparing to unveil at least five products spanning hardware, software, and silicon. The centerpiece is expected to be an entirely new low-cost MacBook. Gurman notes that the colorful artwork on the event invitation hints at the finishes the laptop will offer. He also reports that Apple would not offer hands-on time unless there were a new design to show off, suggesting this model represents more than a routine chip update.
Beyond the new laptop, updates are expected across several existing product lines. On the mobile side, the company is preparing to debut the iPhone 17e. Its predecessor launched in mid-February last year, and this timing would align with that schedule. The iPad lineup is also poised for changes, including a reported iPad Air powered by the M4 chip and a new entry-level iPad featuring the A18 processor to support Apple Intelligence features.
On the Mac side, refreshed MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models are also expected. A high-end MacBook Pro update with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips is described as "overdue by months," while spring has traditionally served as a launch window for new MacBook Air models.
Retail inventory levels appear to align with this timeline. Supplies of the iPhone 16e, iPad Air, 13-inch and 15-inch M4 MacBook Air, and 14-inch and 16-inch M4 Pro and M4 Max MacBook Pro models have dried up at Apple Stores in multiple regions. Stores are also running low on several Apple Watch bands, which are typically refreshed each spring.
The company is also said to have refreshed Mac Studio desktops and a next-generation Apple Studio Display ready for the first half of 2026. However, Gurman believes those products may arrive later to avoid crowding the early March schedule, allowing the new consumer devices to take priority.
